The St. Jude Pro Life Ministry promotes respect for all human life, from conception through natural death. Many projects and efforts throughout the year support this mission:

• Participation in the March for Life Rally in Washington, D.C.
• Participation in the Life Chain event in Indianapolis every October – St. Jude covers a full city block along Meridian Street
• Annual participation in the Spiritual Adoption Program, in conjunction with Respect Life Sunday (1st week of October) – parishioners “adopt” a child in danger of abortion and pray for them throughout the year
• Annual “Diaper Sundays” campaign – collection of diapers and wipes in support of BirthLine and St. Elizabeth/Coleman Adoption Service 
• Ongoing collection of donations via the “BirthLine Playpen” in the church, for distribution to parents and babies in need
• Sponsor of the Pro-Life/Family Life Information Center located in the Narthex – stop by and check out the great information on various family life events and situations

If you feel a calling to join our efforts in the Pro-Life Ministry, please join us! We welcome new ideas and new perspectives. There are lots of different aspects to Pro-Life/Family Life Ministry; if there is one that you would like to focus on, we would love to hear about it. Our mission has great momentum at this time, and we are making real progress. We must keep the ball rolling and continue to make a difference!
