What is YOUR Vocation?

We are ALL called by God in multiple ways. God has a plan for every aspect of our lives, and God’s plan is ALWAYS the best plan! We pray for the wisdom to discern God’s plan for our lives and for the courage to follow that plan, wherever it may lead us.

Prayer for Vocations

Almighty Father,
Grant us the grace to recognize
The purpose for which You created each of us,
And the wisdom and courage to follow the path
You have planned for each of us in this life.
Make our parish, homes and hearts
fruitful ground for Your gift of vocations.
Stir among our men a desire to be
good and holy priests and deacons.

Bless us with women and men called to the religious life.
Strengthen those called to live chaste single lives
or as faithful husbands and wives,
who are a sign of Christ’s love for His Church.
We commend our prayer for vocations to You, Father,
through the intercession of Mary our Mother,
in the Holy Spirit,
through Christ our Lord. Amen.
