Meet Jenna Beckman! Mrs. Beckman has been a teacher for 13 years. Her teaching career started in Perry Township where she taught Kindergarten, 4th and 5th grade and Developmental Preschool. She started working at Little Rebels as a Pre-K teacher in 2013. Mrs. Beckham grew up on the southside of Indianapolis and attended Beech Grove schools. She received her Elementary Education degree with a minor in Special Education from the University of Indianapolis. She and her husband are parishioners at St Roch Catholic Church and have 4 young children. Her children go to school at St. Roch, the St. Jude Preschool and Little Rebels. Jenna has been the JV volleyball coach at Roncalli for 12 years and also coaches a Rebel Juniors volleyball team! Mrs. Beckham loves teaching because children love with all their hearts and their smiles and laughter are contagious!
Meet Celeste Willis! Mrs. Willis and her family are parishioners at St. Barnabas Catholic Church. She and her husband have 2 children at Roncalli High school and their youngest attends St. Barnabas Catholic School. Mrs. Willis went to grade school at Our Lady of the Greenwood and graduated high school from Roncallli. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ball State University in Health Science. Mrs. Willis was a teaching assistant at St. Barnabas for 4 years and then moved to Little Rebels before starting her career as the Preschool Teaching Assistant at the St. Jude Preschool. Mrs. Willis loves witnessing children’s “firsts” school experiences both academically and socially! “I love their minds, hearts, humor, spirits and smiles!”
Meet Sarah Shelburn! Mrs. Shelburn has been a lifetime parishioner at St. Jude Catholic Church! She and her husband have 3 children, 2 at Roncalli and 1 at St. Jude Catholic School. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from IUPUI. She taught 1st and 2nd grade and was a reading specialist in Perry Township before taking time off to raise her family. Mrs. Shelburn taught preschool at Our Lady of the Greenwood and Making Memories before starting at St. Jude Preschool. Mrs. Shelburn loves teaching preschool because, “the children fill me up with their innocence and enthusiasm.”
Meet Tami Sulit! Mrs. Sulit’s home parish is St. Jude Catholic Church, where her family has attended for 20 years. She attended Frankfort High School and graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a marketing degree. Her background includes working with children at the Make-A-Wish Foundation and 4 years as a pre-k assistant teacher at Making Memories. Mrs. Sulit enjoys working with the pre-k students “because of the joy they have for learning and their contagious curiosity everyday!” She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children hiking, biking, and playing basketball.
Meet Donna Rudolf! Mrs. Rudolf’s home parish is St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, where she has been teaching Children’s Catechesis since 1994. She received her teaching degree in elementary education with a kindergarten endorsement from Indiana University. Mrs. Rudolf’s first teaching job was at La Petite in 1991 as the teacher for four year olds. In 2000, Donna began working at St. Jude as part of the K-Care program, then later as an instructional assistant in 1st grade. Mrs. Rudolf is excited to lead her own classroom again at St. Jude Preschool! “I enjoy working with the three year olds because they are curious and eager to learn. I plan to continue working with this age as long as possible.” Mrs. Rudolf and her husband have 3 dogs and enjoy hiking and going to antique shows!
Meet Mary Tepp! Mrs. Tepp’s home parish is St. Jude Catholic Church, where she volunteers on many levels and also sings in the choir. She’s from Illinois and attended school there and moved to Indianapolis in 2001. She has an Associates Degree from Park College and would like to obtain her preschool certification so she can soon lead her own classroom. Mrs. Tepp worked at St. Jude School for 9 years as a 1st grade Instructional Assistant before moving into the St. Jude Preschool. When asked why she enjoys working with three years olds, she responded “They want to know everything! It is so easy to feel close to God when you work with little ones everyday! They put everything they have into everything they do!” Mary has a husband, 3 children, 2 grandchildren, a dog and a rabbit and loves gardening!
